UGC-NET June 2026 Application Process: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification for the advisory for completion of the application. The registration portal for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination shall be closing on 20 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). All candidates who have not yet completed the process are once again advised to ensure that they:

  • Fill and submit the online application form paying the prescribed examination fee.

According to the official notice, candidates who have not yet completed their registration are strongly advised to finish the process by submitting the online application form and paying the prescribed examination fee within the given deadline. The NTA has also instructed applicants to download and safely keep the confirmation page for future reference after successful submission.

The advisory further emphasizes that students should carefully verify every detail entered in the application form before making the final payment. Once the fee is paid, no corrections or modifications may be allowed later. The agency specifically mentioned that candidates must pay close attention to information such as:

  • Mother’s Name
  • Social Category
  • PwD Status
  • Difficulty in Writing Status
  • Scribe Requirement Status
  • Subject Chosen
  • Examination City Preferences

Any mistake in these sections could create problems during the examination or later stages of verification.

NTA has reiterated that only those candidates who successfully pay the application fee will be considered to have completed the registration process. Simply filling out the form without payment will not be treated as a valid application.
