Bank of India SO Recruitment 2026: BANK OF INDIA, a leading Public Sector Bank having its Head Office in Mumbai, invites applications for the recruitment of Officers as mentioned below. BOI has released a notification for the Recruitment of Officers in various streams up to Scale IV, Project No. 2026-27/02, Notice dated 01.08.2026. 

Bank of India has announced a recruitment drive for 205 Officers in various specialist streams up to Scale IV. Online Examination

The composite examination time is 100 minutes. The Professional Knowledge test is particularly important because the merit ranking is based on the marks obtained in the Professional Knowledge paper.

The English Language test is qualifying in nature, and its marks are not added to the merit list.

For General/EWS candidates, the minimum qualifying mark specified for each test is 35%. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates applying against relevant reserved vacancies receive a 5 percentage-point relaxation in the stipulated qualifying marks. Candidates must qualify separately in each test.

Negative Marking

There is a penalty for incorrect answers.

For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. No penalty is imposed when a question is left unanswered.

Interview and Final Selection

Candidates who qualify in the online test and rank sufficiently high can be called for a personal interview.

The maximum marks for the interview are 100. The minimum qualifying mark is:

• General/EWS: 50%
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 45%, where the vacancy is reserved for the relevant category

The bank normally proposes to call candidates for interview in a 1:3 ratio to the number of vacancies, although it reserves the right to change this ratio.

If both the online examination and interview are conducted, the weightage is:
