CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Portal 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally activated the Class 12 Verification and Re-evaluation Portal after a delay of nearly 24 hours. The portal was originally scheduled to go live on June 1, 2026, but students across the country reported technical issues and were unable to access the system.
Following widespread complaints, CBSE resolved the glitches and officially opened the portal on June 2, 2026. Students who have already obtained scanned copies of their answer sheets can now apply for verification of issues, re-evaluation of answers, and other post-result services.
The development comes as a major relief for lakhs of Class 12 students who were waiting to challenge their marks after reviewing their answer scripts.

Several students demanded an extension of deadlines due to the delay. After addressing these concerns, CBSE activated the portal on June 2 and also released a detailed guide explaining the application process.

Cybersecurity Questions Resurface

Recent reports regarding cybersecurity concerns and alleged website vulnerabilities have further intensified discussions around portal security.
However, CBSE has assured students that the system is now functioning normally and applications can be submitted without interruption.
What Should Students Do Now?
Students who believe there has been an error in the evaluation process should carefully review their scanned answer books and apply before the deadline. Since the portal is now live, candidates are advised to complete the process as early as possible to avoid last-minute technical issues.
With the verification and re-evaluation window officially open, Class 12 students now have an opportunity to challenge discrepancies and seek corrections in their final board examination results.
