CUET 2026 May 11 Question Paper: In India, many entrance examinations are conducted every year for medical, engineering, law, management, and PhD admissions. Just like NEET and JEE, another major entrance examination for undergraduate admission is CUET UG. This examination is for students who want admission to undergraduate courses in various central universities, state universities, deemed universities, and private universities after completing Class 12.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had already released the CUET UG 2026 admit card on May 5, 2026. The admit card included important details such as exam date, shift timing, exam centre, and subject information. From today, May 11, 2026, the CUET UG 2026 examination has officially begun across the country, and it will continue until May 31, 2026.

Candidates are appearing for the examination according to their allotted shifts and centres. The examination is being conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. This year, more than 15.68 lakh students are appearing for the CUET UG 2026 examination, making it one of the biggest undergraduate entrance exams in India.

What is CUET UG 2026?

CUET UG, also known as the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses, is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam has become one of the most important entrance tests for students seeking admission to top universities in India.

Through CUET UG scores, students can apply for admission to several prestigious universities, including:

  • Banaras Hindu University
  • Jawaharlal Nehru University
  • Jamia Millia Islamia
  • University of Allahabad

The examination includes:

CUET UG 2026 Exam Pattern

The examination is being conducted completely in online CBT mode. Candidates have to answer questions on a computer system at their allotted exam centres.

The exam includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and candidates must complete the paper within the allotted duration. According to NTA guidelines, students must carry:

  • Admit Card
  • Valid Photo ID Proof
  • Passport Size Photograph

Electronic gadgets such as smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, and mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Starts Today

Today marks the beginning of the CUET UG 2026 examination. Students from different parts of India have started appearing for the exam in various shifts.

Based on the initial reactions from students, the overall difficulty level of today’s paper was reported to be easy to moderate. Several candidates said that the English section was manageable, while some domain subjects included moderate and slightly tricky questions.

The General Test section reportedly included questions from:

  • Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Knowledge

Students also mentioned that time management played an important role during the examination.

Shift-Wise Question Paper Analysis for 11 May 2026

The official answer key has not been released yet. However, many coaching institutes and educational platforms are preparing unofficial memory-based answer keys based on student feedback.
