SSC CGLE 2025 Inspector: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a major update today, 26 May 2026, for candidates selected through the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has now issued important notices for candidates recommended for the posts of Inspector (CGST), Inspector (Preventive Officer), and Inspector (Examiner).

Selected candidates must now submit their Zone and Formation preferences online for allocation purposes. Candidates should note that this is an important step in the appointment process, and missing the deadline may lead to allocation based on administrative requirements.

What is the latest SSC CGLE 2025 update?

According to the newly issued notices, candidates selected for Inspector posts under CBIC are being asked to submit their preferences for available Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCAs). Allocation will be done on a merit-cum-preference basis.

    • Mobile Number
  3. Select preferred Zones/Formations

The number of available Cadre Controlling Authorities differs by post:

Inspector (CGST):

  • 16 CCAs available

Inspector (Preventive Officer):

  • 6 CCAs available

Inspector (Examiner):

Candidates can choose preferences only from the available CCAs mentioned in the notification.
