Candidates must first complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website. OTR generated on the old SSC website will not be functional on the new website.

After completing OTR, candidates can apply for the Junior Engineer Examination through the SSC website or the mySSC mobile application.

SSC JE 2026 Selection Process

Paper-I is qualifying in nature, but it is used to shortlist candidates for Paper-II based on normalized marks.

The minimum qualifying marks prescribed by SSC are:

• OBC/EWS: 25%
• All other categories: 20%
