WBSSC Special Education Teacher Recruitment 2026: The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released a notification inviting eligible Teachers to avail Mutual Transfer. WBSSC issued an important notice regarding the regularization of Special Education Teachers in the state. According to the notice dated August 7, 2026, recommendation letters for 91 candidates will be issued on August 13.

The development comes in compliance with an order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in WP (Civil) No. 132 of 2016 and subsequent communications from the West Bengal School Education Department and the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

WBSSC Special Education Teacher Recruitment: Recommendation Letters to Be Issued on August 13

As per the notice, the recommendation letters for the regularization of Special Education Teachers will be issued from 11:00 AM onwards on August 13, 2026.

The letters will be issued from the office of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission at:

Acharya Sadan
11 & 11/1, Block EE, Sector-II, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700091

Notice dated 07.08.2026 regarding Information for eligible Teachers/ Non-Teaching Staff to avail Mutual Transfer:  

It is hereby notified to all concern that vide notification no. 760-SED/DSII-12099/11/2025-GA dated 30.06.2026 of School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, the Utshasree portal has been operational for transfer of seaching and non-reaching employees of Govt, aided/sponsored schools w.e.f. 01.07.2026, in view of the matter, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBCSSC) is hereby going to start the Motual transfer process as per Rule 2012 Therefore, the applications, pending before the commission will be processed as per scheduled mentioned herewith. For this purpose a hearing process will be held at the Commission’s office at 11 117, Block-EF, Saltlake, Kolkata-9) on 21.08.2026 and 02.09.2026 from 11.00 AM onwards respectively.

The teaching and non-teaching employees are requested to he present in person along with photocopy of their service related documents and demand draft of Rs 1000/- per persise in favour of “WEST BENGAL CENTRAL SCHOOL SERVICE COMMISSION”-payable at Kolkata from any Nationalised Bank,

Candidates Must Carry These Documents

The notice refers to a memorandum issued by the Secretary of the West Bengal School Education Department on December 12, 2025, as well as a communication from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education dated January 8, 2026.
