West Bengal Dissolves Sponsored School Managing Committees: Government of West Bengal, School Education Department, Secondary Branch, Bikash Bhavan (5th Floor), Salt Lake, Kolkata-91, has released a notification for the ORDER of ‘Whereas, Managing Committees of all Sponsored Institutions have been dissolved vide this Department’s Order no: 582-SE/S/5C-01/2026, dated: 14.05.2026. Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred under Rule 25 of the Management of Sponsored Institutions (Secondary) Rules, 1972, all the DI/S(SE) are hereby directed to appoint the SI of schools, having jurisdiction over the area, where the schools are situated, as an Administrator with immediate effect for the smooth running of the schools.
This order is issued with the approval of the competent authority and shall remain in force until further order. All concerned are hereby informed accordingly.
