WB LDA Induction Training 2026: Government of West Bengal. Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Training Cell, State Secretariat, Nabanna, 7th Floor, 325, Sarat Chatterjee Road, Howrah-711102, has released a notification for the ‘Non-Residential Induction Training Programme for Newly Appointed L.D. Assistants (Batch-3) from 14-24 September, 2026 at NSATI’.
This is an important memorandum regarding the Non-Residential Induction Training Programme for newly appointed Lower Division Assistants (LDAs). A total of 30 Lower Division Assistants posted in different departments and offices of the West Bengal Secretariat have been nominated for the third batch of induction training at the Netaji Subhas Administrative Training Institute (NSATI), Salt Lake, Kolkata.
According to the memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Training Cell, the training will be conducted from 14 September 2026 to 24 September 2026, covering eight working days. The programme will be held during office hours and will be non-residential.

What Will Happen If a Nominated LDA Cannot Attend?
The memorandum also contains an important provision for departments and offices.
If any of the nominated LDAs is unable to attend the training, the concerned department or office may nominate another untrained LDA in their place. The department has also been asked to communicate the appropriate reason for the absence of the originally nominated employee along with supporting documents.
The participating departments have been requested to send the details of the concerned officials to NSATI by 11 September 2026. The required details include the trainee’s name, gender, department, mobile number with WhatsApp facility and email ID.

Reporting Time for the Training
The nominated employees have been instructed to attend the training with the prior approval of their controlling authority.
On the first day of the programme, participants are required to reach NSATI by 9:15 AM. In case a participant remains absent, the appropriate reason along with supporting documents must be communicated to the concerned department.

WB LDA Training 2026: When Will the Training Start?
The NSATI proposal, dated 21 August 2026, confirms that the induction training for LDA Batch-03 is scheduled to commence on 14 September 2026 and continue until 24 September 2026, covering eight working days.
The proposal also states that the names of LDAs were to be sponsored by the Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department in the prescribed format by 11 September 2026.
WB LDA Training: What Departments Need to Do
The memorandum has also placed responsibilities on the concerned departments and offices.
They have been requested to:
- Allow the nominated officials to participate in the training.
- Ensure that the concerned officials attend with the necessary approval.
- Send trainee details to NSATI within the prescribed timeline.
- Nominate another untrained LDA if a nominated employee cannot attend.
- Provide the reason and supporting documents for absence where applicable.
After completion of the training, the participants’ list is also to be sent to the department along with an appraisal of the trainees/participants.
