IIT Dharwad Library Trainee Recruitment 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) has released a notification for the recruitment of Library Trainee. The IIT Dharwad Central Library is seeking young, dynamic, tech-savvy, highly motivated, and committed fresh Postgraduates in Library & Information Science from recognized Indian Universities with consistently good academic records to serve as Library Trainees temporarily.

Candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning new skills and for delivering services using emerging tools and technology will be preferred for the following temporary position.

Salary and Duration of Training

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000. The traineeship will initially continue for 12 months from the date of joining. IIT Dharwad has also mentioned that the tenure may be extended for another year, depending on performance and institutional requirements.

Selection Process at IIT Dharwad

The applications received in response to the advertisement will be scrutinized, and only short-listed Candidates will be called for the written test. The written test will be in English. Based on the performance of the written test, selected candidates will be called for an interview on the same day.
