Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2026: The Jharkhand Grih Raksha Vahini, Deoghar, has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 for the new enrollment of eligible candidates as Home Guards (Grih Rakshak) in Deoghar district. A total of 772 vacancies have been announced, including 635 Rural Home Guard posts and 137 Urban Home Guard posts.

For Rural Home Guard

Candidates applying for a Rural Home Guard position must be a permanent resident of the particular block of Deoghar district from which they are applying.

A self-attested residential certificate issued by the competent authority must be uploaded with the application.

For Urban Home Guard

Candidates applying for an Urban Home Guard position must be a general resident of the urban area of Deoghar district and must submit the required residential certificate.

Age Limit

Shot Put

Physical Test for Urban Technical Candidates

The standards are somewhat different for Urban Technical Home Guard candidates.

1-Mile Run

Technical Skill Test
