  • Vice-Chancellors
  • Directors
  • Principals

are not eligible to apply for this award.

Modes of Nomination

The Government has introduced multiple nomination methods on a Janbhagidari basis so that deserving teachers can participate easily.

1. Self-Nomination

Teachers can directly apply themselves through the online portal.

2. Institutional Nomination

Heads of Institutions, such as Principals, Directors, and Vice-Chancellors can nominate eligible faculty members.

3. Peer Nomination

Colleagues from the same institution, university, or polytechnic can also nominate a deserving teacher.
