UGC NET June 2026 Upload Live Photograph: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification for the, Special Facility for upload of live Photograph for visually Impaired Candidates of UGC-NET June 2026 Examination.

During submission of the Online Application Form for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination, candidates are required to capture and upload a live photograph through the registration portal. It has been observed that Visually Impaired (VI) candidates may face practical difficulties in completing the live photograph capture process.

Accordingly, as a special facilitation measure for the benefit of Visually Impaired candidates, a one-time facility is being provided whereby such candidates may send their live photograph, on the email ID mentioned below: [email protected]

What Relief Has NTA Announced?

Under the new arrangement, visually impaired candidates who are genuinely unable to complete the live photograph capture process can send their photograph through email instead of uploading it directly on the portal.

Candidates have been asked to send the required photograph to the official NTA email ID:

The agency clarified that the request email must include important applicant details such as:

  • Application Number
  • Candidate Name
  • Other relevant registration particulars

Facility Only for Genuine Cases

The NTA has clearly stated that this special provision is only meant for visually impaired candidates who are facing genuine difficulty while capturing the live photograph during the registration process.

Officials have emphasized that the measure has been introduced as a facilitation step to ensure that eligible candidates are not deprived of the opportunity to complete their applications due to technical or accessibility barriers.
