BEL Project Engineer Recruitment 2026: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bengaluru Complex, one of India’s leading defence electronics companies under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for the recruitment of the Project Engineer-I positions under its Naval Systems (S&CS) Strategic Business Unit. Engineering graduates with relevant work experience now have an opportunity to join a prestigious Navratna PSU and work on critical defence and communication projects across India.
Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna Company and India’s premier Professional Electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel on a temporary basis for its NS(S&CS) SBU to be positioned at any of these locations, such as New Delhi, Gurgaon, Gandhinagar, Vizag, Kolkata, Kochi, Chennai, Portblair & Mumbai.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a full-time BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized institution.

For SSI posts, experience in the installation and commissioning of electronic or electrical systems is required. Candidates having exposure to:

will receive preference.
For TSCS posts, candidates should have experience in the installation, commissioning, and integration of electronic or embedded systems.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 32 years as on June 1, 2026.

- PwBD: Additional 10 years
Salary and Benefits

Monthly Salary

Apart from the salary, selected candidates will receive:
- Rs.12,000 annually towards medical insurance, life insurance, and other allowances
- Retention Bonus of Rs.25,000 per completed year
Candidates completing the full four-year tenure will receive a total retention bonus of Rs.1 lakh.

Selection Process for BEL Project Engineer Recruitment
The recruitment process will consist of:
- Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement will be called for a Written Test, which will be for 85 marks.
- Candidates who pass the written test will be called for an interview (Category- wise) based on the vacancies, in the ratio of 1:5. 15 marks will be allotted for the interview.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test and Interview is 35% for General/EWS/OBC and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- The venue for the Written Test and Interview will be intimated later.
