ISRO ISTRAC Recruitment 2026: Government of India, Department of Space, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), ISRO, Telemetry Tracking and Command Network, Bengaluru has released a notification for the recruitment of Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant/ Library Assistant/ Technician – Draughtsman –‘B’/ Cook –A.  ISRO has released a fresh recruitment notification through the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bengaluru. The recruitment drive offers exciting career opportunities for candidates with ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., Library Science, and relevant work experience.
Interested candidates can submit their online applications from 27 June 2026 until 20 July 2026 (11:55 PM) through the official ISRO recruitment portal.
About ISRO ISTRAC
ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) is responsible for providing mission support to India’s satellites and launch vehicles. It manages spacecraft control centres, deep space networks, navigation mission support, satellite communication networks, and tracking stations located across India and overseas.
Selected candidates may be posted at various ISRO facilities across the country, depending on organizational requirements.

Educational Qualification
The required qualification depends on the post.
- Technician-B: SSLC/SSC with ITI/NTC/NAC in the relevant trade.
- Draughtsman-B: SSLC with ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman Civil or Mechanical.
- Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
- Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc. in Computer Science or Mathematics, depending on the post.
- Library Assistant-A: First Class Graduation along with a First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science.
- Cook-A: SSLC/SSC with five years’ experience as a cook in a reputed hotel or canteen.

Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years as on 20 July 2026.
Age relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and other eligible categories as per Government of India rules.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive attractive pay under the Central Government Pay Matrix.

Employees will also receive benefits including the National Pension System/Unified Pension Scheme, medical facilities, leave travel concession, subsidised canteen, group insurance and other ISRO employee benefits.
Payment of Application Fee:
There is a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for Technical Assistant / Scientific Assistant. However, initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per application as a processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the Written Test/ CBT.
There is a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for Technician-B / Draughtsman-B / Cook. However, initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per application as Processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the Written Test/ CBT.
How to apply for the recruitment of ISRO ISTRAC
The link for the application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO/ISTRAC web-sites www.isro.gov.in / www.istrac.gov.in during the period from 27.06.2026 (10:00 AM) to 20.07.2026 (11.55 PM). Upon on-line registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The candidates are also advised to take a printout of the online application for future reference.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Written Test or Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Skill Test based on the prescribed curriculum
The Skill Test will be qualifying in nature wherever applicable.
