Yuva Shakti Scheme West Bengal 2026: The West Bengal government has officially started the online application process for the much-awaited ‘Yuva Shakti’ scheme to provide financial assistance to the unemployed youth of the state. Under this scheme, eligible unemployed youth of the state will receive an allowance of Rs 3,000 per month directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer or DBT system. According to Navanna sources, the process of disbursing the first tranche of this scheme is going to start from June 1.

This innovative initiative, launched as part of the state government’s election promise, is expected to benefit lakhs of unemployed youth of West Bengal. Interested candidates can register online for this scheme through the dedicated portal https://www.ju-boshokti.in/. Apart from this, there is also the facility of applying through the official portal of the Department of Labour and Employment and the website of the Employment Bank. The entire process has been made completely online, due to which there is no need to submit any form offline.

To avail the benefits of the scheme, applicants have to visit the portal and provide their personal details, educational qualifications and bank details.

What is the Yuva Shakti Scheme?

The Yuva Shakti Scheme has been introduced with the objective of supporting unemployed young people who are actively looking for work. Under the program, beneficiaries may receive a monthly financial assistance amount through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring that funds are transferred directly into their bank accounts.

Account details must be provided. As per the guidelines, the applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and his/her age must be between 21 and 40 years. In addition, candidates under the ‘Yuv Shakti’ scheme can get an age relaxation of up to 5 years in the recruitment process of government jobs.
