CISF Recruitment 2026: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will recruit 23 candidates for the post of Pharmacist and Lab Technician. It is an organization under the Union Home Ministry. The candidates will be appointed as Assistant Sub-Inspectors. This is a temporary appointment, but there is a possibility of a permanent. Both males and females are eligible to apply.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), a paramilitary force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced recruitment for Pharmacist and Lab Technician posts. Eligible candidates from across India can apply online for these positions.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 23 vacancies, and selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI). While the appointments will initially be temporary, there is a possibility of permanent absorption based on service requirements and performance.

Educational Qualification

For Pharmacist Post

Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination. In addition, applicants should possess a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution. The candidate’s name should be registered as a Pharmacist wherever required by applicable regulations.

For Lab Technician Post

Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (Science stream) or equivalent. They must also hold a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.

Age Limit

As per the notification, candidates should be between 18 and 28 years of age as of July 7, 2026.

Age relaxation is available as follows:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • OBC candidates: 3 years
  • Other eligible reserved categories: As per government norms

Physical Standards

Height

Male Candidates

  • General/OBC/Other categories: 170 cm
  • Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas and specified categories: 165 cm
  • ST candidates: 162.5 cm

Female Candidates

  • General/OBC/Other categories: 157 cm
  • Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas and specified categories: 155 cm
  • ST candidates: 154 cm

Chest (Male Candidates Only)

  • Unexpanded: 80 cm
  • Expanded: 85 cm

Relaxations are applicable for certain reserved categories as per the recruitment rules.

Candidates must also maintain a weight proportional to their height and age.

Salary Structure for CISF Recruitment

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the range of Rs.29,200 to Rs.92,300, making it an attractive opportunity for diploma holders seeking stable government employment.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of multiple stages:

  1. Computer-Based Written Examination
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  3. Documentation Verification
  4. Basic Vocational Aptitude Test
  5. Medical Examination

The written examination will include objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total marks will be 100, and the duration of the examination will be two hours.
