WB PMFBY Scheme Apply 2026: The Government of West Bengal has started the Kharif 2026 enrolment under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), allowing eligible farmers to protect their crops against natural calamities and crop losses.

Crop insurance is an integrated IT solution and web-based ecosystem designed to accelerate service delivery, consolidate disparate databases, ensure a holistic ‘single view’ of data, and eliminate manual processes. It provides insurance services to farmers more rapidly than before.

The scheme covers Kharif paddy (Aush and Aman), and farmers can submit their applications up to 31 August 2026. The official PMFBY portal also allows farmers to apply online, calculate premiums, track applications, and report crop losses.
